Parameter Definitions

Parameter
Definition

Constituent Set

The set of assets eligible for inclusion. All indices derive from the same constituent set (top 125 by market cap).

Index Rule

How the index is calculated from the universe. Determines which assets are included and how.

Calculation

The formula used to compute the index value.

Quote Format

How the index value is expressed. Determines the notional units for trading.

Margin Mode

How collateral is allocated. Cross mode uses your entire account balance as collateral across positions. Isolated mode dedicates margin per position. See Portfolio Marginarrow-up-right.

Max Leverage

Maximum leverage available. Higher leverage requires less margin but increases liquidation risk.

Tick Size

Minimum price increment. Orders must be placed at multiples of the tick size.

Min Order Size

Smallest notional order value accepted by the system.

Maintenance Margin

Minimum margin ratio to keep a position open. Positions below this threshold are liquidated.

Initial Margin

Margin required to open a position at maximum leverage.

Funding Interval

Frequency at which funding payments are exchanged between long and short holders.

Price Source

Primary and fallback sources for constituent asset prices.

Supply Source

Data vendors for circulating supply figures.

Parameter Updates

Market parameters may be adjusted based on market conditions, liquidity depth, and risk considerations. Changes are announced in advance through official channels.

For index calculation methodology, see Oracles.
